A Chesapeake Bay Area Marina with All New Facilities

Cockrell's is a Virginia marina with all new facilities to meet the needs of Chesapeake Bay area boating enthusiats!Cockrell's has added 25 new slips with plans for 100 more in the near future.  Permanent and transient slips , both covered and open berths are available.  Our facilities are also ideal for Northern Neck and Chesapeake Bay boaters looking for winter storage before returning North in the spring.  Cockrell's is situated 4 miles up the Little Wicomico River, protected from strong winds and lashing waves that periodically batter the open Chesapeake Bay and lower Potomac River.   

Many of our slips have been equipped with 30 amp or twin 30 amp electric power.  50 amp power is available for larger boats.  All electrical facilities are metered.  Our customers only pay for what they use.  Sufficient electrical power is available to operate cell phones and onboard computers.  Cockrell's new restroom, shower and office facilities were completed in the fall of 2004 along with a new pump out station.

Cockrell's has a spacious dry storage area on premises for Chesapeake Bay and Northern Neck boating fanatics that want to minimize off season damage.  Many of our customers prefer dry to wet storage in order to avoid blistering and cracking in hull gel coating.
