Cockrell's - The Northern Neck Boating Source of Dependability
Founded in 1929 by Dandridge Cockrell, Sr., Cockrell's Marine Railway was originally positioned to service, repair and build new boats for local commercial waterman. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, Cockrell's is now undergoing profound changes in its market thrust. With the old time commercial Bay waterman fast becoming an anachronism, Cockrell's has expanded the number of its electrified boat slips and added new restroom and shower facilities to attract the legion of recreational boaters flocking to the Northern Neck to fish and cruise local waters. Dandrige, Jr., president Andy Cockrell and son Myles are managing this transition to reflect the rapidly changing Northern Neck lifestyle.
Cockrell's Marine - Embracing Change Without Losing Its Core Values
Cockrell's will always be dedicated to integrity, quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction during this time of transition. We will still build and repair boats with the old fashioned values that its reputation has been built on over the years. While our customer base may change with the times, our core values will always remain a constant.
